   The Kipling Lancelot snap front shoulder bag is a terrific every day bag. It has the perfect number of pockets to fit a cell phone, palm pilot, ipod and more. If strapped across your body, it is very light even when filled with personal items, e.g., books, makeup cases, etc. The zippers are easy to open and close and the bag looks “dress casual.”

   Kipling Lancelot Snap Front Shoulder Bag

   I purchased the Kipling Lancelot Snap Front Shoulder Bag to use during my travels. The light interior makes looking for things in your bag easier. The front snap becomes annoying as you continually have to open and close it. For items I was frequently using I used the zippered compartment in the back of the bag.

   The bag is lightweight and has three zippered compartments. The front compartment has compartments for your cell phone, glasses, a zippered compartment and a velcro compartment with two pen/pencils holders. Behind this first compartment is the second compartment which has a zippered pocket and a place to hook your keys.

   I tended to use the zippered compartment in the back of the bag. I can’t tell you how many phone calls I missed as I fumbled to open the front snap, unzip the compartment and locate the phone. I recommend this bag for traveling but wish there had been an outer pocket to put my phone in.

   These bags are very, very popular in Europe, and I know why. This bag is so much better looking in person than you see on the computer screen. Kipling colors, and material used are so special, vibrant, and classy, even the black “color” is vibrant. This handbag has a place for everything. You can put a lot of “stuff” in this bag. You will get a lot of complements when wearing this bag, and you will know that you have joined the “Kipling club” so to speak, and will want more of their products.

   I bought this to use while traveling and now I use it as a casual everyday purse. It’s big enough to carry a few diapers, wipes, and car snacks for my son AS WELL AS everything I need for myself without being too big and bulky. And when it’s not maxed-out full of stuff, it “collapses down” nicely and has a good shape … if that makes sense. Bottom line is, this is a versitile, nice-looking, practical purse that is sized just perfectly for Moms who need to take some extras now and then. This is the first Kipling bag I purchased and I’ll definitely keep them in mind when I need a bag in the future.

   I got hooked on Kipling bags when I found them in SE Asia. They were so inexpensive I’m guessing they enter the market there after “falling off the back of a truck.” Bought them wherever I found them–never more than a few dollars. They will last forever, so well made–you can throw them in the washing machine and they come out looking new. But I really needed a blue purse, and not wanting to go to China or Vietnam or Laos to hunt one up, I shelled out big bucks for the Lancelot in a perfect deep blue. I appreciate the multiple zippers and multiple pockets and the fact that this bag makes heavy work for a pick-pocket. Most of the Kipling bags have multiple, sturdy zippers and pockets, and if you consistently organize your purse junk in the same places, you’ll find that this forced organization makes for easy access and an absence of clutter.

   Overall I am very happy with this product. The only reason why I didn’t give it a 5 is because sometimes it seems like the number of zippers can be too cumbersome. It is great in that you won’t lose anything from your purse, but to reach in for your cell phone, or keys, you have to unsnap and unzip, or at least unzip. The Kipling products are awesome, and there are plenty of styles to choose from. I just happend to choose a style that was a little “too” secure for my needs at times.

   The bag is nice and handy with convenient compartments. The size is just right to fit in a small notebood or planner but not bulky. Nice for everyday use.

   Greatest, most convenient, versatile bag ever…I haven’t stopped using it since I got it about a month ago…it goes everywhere with me …the pockets are great…

   the only criticism I saw when I bought it in the reviews what that the front opened up too wide and things could fall out…this is really not true…it’s completely manageable and easy to avoid any problems…

   wonderful bag!!

   I hate all the “fashionable” bags these days…this is comfortable with the long strap and I think it looks cool even if it’s not hip!!

   I purchased this bag as a replacement for the same Kipling bag I purchased from a Kipling store that I’d lost, this bag has been slightly updated to include a better strap adjustment glide (now metal prior was plastic) and a strap with clip to attach keys to (now keeps keys secure and easy to locate inside the bag) There are several compartments inside for smaller items like wallet, mobile phone, ipod etc. Shipped very quickly at a great price. I’m pleased with this bag and I’m sure you will be too.

    I absolutely love the Kipling style and colors. I got this one in white, which is not so white. It’s more like an off white. But the style of it is awesome. Lightweight, several compartments, easy to carry without being a burden. You can carry it across your body or just on your shoulder because of the easily adjustable strap. I’d definitely recommend it.
