Luis Vitton Boulogne Collection

There are many top designer handbag signature purses are made out of leather.  The Luis Vitton handbag and leathergoods company produces an exquisite handbag called the Boulogne Purse.  In the companies 2007 catalog you could find four styles of this purse, each with…  the same basic design, but with a different twist which makes up the four styles – whether it is a different embellishment or fabric.  Below we will detail each.

Monogram Multicolore bag.  The dimensions of this handbag are 12.2” x 10” x 3.9”.  As you can see, it is smaller than the previous two bags.  The style of this bag updates the previous recognizable classic look of the Luis Vitton style.  While the classic LV bags use the color combination of tan and brown, this updated purse reflects its name and is covered with the LV insignia in multicolors.  The logo being represented in multicolors is the “Multicolore” part of the style name.  The background is black and reflects the “Monogram” design of the classic style handbags.  The outside design of the Monogram Multicolore bag has tan calfskin corner reinforcements and straps.  There is an outside pocket which has a zipper closure for securing important items that you might want quick access to, such as a ticket, credit card, or driver’s license.

Unsurprisingly, the smallest purse in the Luis Vitton Monogram Boulogne collection is called the, “Little Boulogne.”  The measurements of this small bag is a mere 7.5” x 5.9” x 2” but don’t let it fool you; this purse holds more than it appears to at first.  It is a great little bag and is versatile.  If you want a grab and go little quality bag, this might be the one for you.  The look of this bag features the recognizable LV monogram against jacquard satin black material.  The reinforcements and strap are made from black leather, which makes this bag perfect for many different occasions from the elegant, to the more mundane daily outings. Whereas the other purses in the Boulogne Monogram collection all have brass hardware, the Little Boulogne features silver hardware.  The silver positioned against the black jacquard satin and black LV monogram pattern looks gorgeous.
