A Replica Handbag?

The term, “replica designer handbags” seems to be a paradox.  The definition of a paradox is,

1. a statement or proposition that seems self-contradictory or absurd but in reality expresses a possible truth.

2. a self-contradictory and false proposition.

3. any person, thing, or situation exhibiting an apparently contradictory nature.

4.an opinion or statement contrary to commonly accepted opinion. (1)

The main problem with buying this type of handbag is only if you are not aware it is a copy.  However, if you know what you are purchasing, a replica handbag makes a lot of sense.

It is common knowledge that designer purses are expensive.  That is part of the allure for some consumers.  So, price becomes an issue.  A replica purse costs less than a designer purse.  Another point with authentic designer handbags is the quality.  Yes, it is true, designers use high quality materials to make their products.  But that doesn’t mean replica handbags are of poor quality.  Of course, some are cheap.  I like to refer to that type of replica purse as a “knock-off” rather than a “replica.”  Designers such as Marc Jacobsand Furla put extensive craftsmanship into their products, but…  there are replicas that also are made with quality workmanship, but come with a much more reasonable price tag.  Some replica bags actually rival the original designer pieces.

However, the biggest argument in favor of purchasing a replica handbag rather than an authentic designer purse is because the fashion industry is by nature a trendy, changing entity.  What is the pinnacle of high fashion today can quickly become outdated tomorrow.  With the prices of the original merchandise, the consumer may not be able to keep up with the fashion trends.  However, if the shopper is buying replica merchandise they may be able to buy the new hot style as soon as it hits the market.  If a consumer is interested in purchasing designer handbags because they are fashion savvy, and into trends, than to be in a position where they are carrying an outdated style would not be what this customer is interested in.  A quality replica handbag is the answer.
